WHO WE ARE

Started operating from a garage March 1999 as a family run business with 2 machinists – Wilson (now workshop floor manager and chief machinist) and Vasco, both of whom are still with the company.

Both continuing to be an integral part of the business. We have gradually expanded over the years and now have 9 permanent employees assisting in the manufacturing of a wide array of client products.

We pride ourselves in offering high quality products, produced with skilled and experienced workmanship at affordable prices.

We are able to offer customized and bespoke items, therefore we are able to offer one-off items. No order is too small or too large

WHAT WE DO

At Plastrim we are responsible for the cutting the fabric or material according to the design specifications, sewing the fabric or material pieces together to create the desired product, and then finishing the product by adding any necessary trims, such as buttons, zippers, embroidery or screen-printing.

The manufacturing process starts with the design and creation of a pattern for the product as provided by the client. Once the product design is finalized a sample product is produced and provided to the client for approval. Thereafter the material is ordered and the cutting, making and trimming process begins to produce the final product.

The sewing process involves the use of sewing machines and skilled workers who sew the material pieces together according to the design specifications. Our machinists are trained in specific sewing techniques and are able to work quickly and accurately to produce high-quality product finishes.
